Responsibility for editorial content
[NAME]
[ADDRESS, IF DIFFERENT FROM ABOVE]
Karuvia publishes editorial material in the Journal. Where national law requires a named person to be responsible for journalistic or editorial content, that person is named here.
Karuvia’s role
Karuvia operates an online marketplace. Products and services listed here are offered by independent vendors and service providers, and a purchase creates a contract between you and that vendor, not between you and Karuvia. The trader behind each listing is named on the product page and on their storefront.
Karuvia is responsible for operating the marketplace, for the standards a listing must meet before it is published, and for the material Karuvia itself publishes. It is not the seller of vendors’ goods and does not provide the professional services offered by its strategic partners. How listings are assessed is set out in How We Select Products & Partners.
Consumer dispute resolution
If something goes wrong, tell us first: Complaint Handling & Dispute Resolution sets out how a complaint is handled and how long it takes.
[CONFIRM WITH LEGAL COUNSEL:] state here whether Karuvia is willing or obliged to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration body, and name that body if so. Note that the European Commission’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform ceased operating on 20 July 2025, so the link to ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr that appears in most older imprint templates must not be used.
Liability for content
We take care over the content we publish, but cannot guarantee that it is accurate, complete or current at all times. Karuvia is not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that suggest unlawful activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law are unaffected: liability arises only from the point at which a specific infringement becomes known. Where we become aware of an infringement, we remove the content promptly.
Liability for links
Our pages link to external websites over whose content we have no control, and we accept no responsibility for it. The provider or operator of a linked site is always responsible for its content. Linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking, and no unlawful content was apparent. Permanent monitoring of linked pages is not reasonable without concrete evidence of an infringement; where one becomes known, we remove the link promptly.
Copyright

Reproduction, adaptation, distribution and any form of exploitation beyond the limits of copyright require the written consent of the author. Downloads and copies of this site are permitted for private, non-commercial use. Where content was not created by the operator, third-party copyright is respected and such content is identified as third-party material. If you notice an infringement, please tell us and we will remove the content promptly.
